Welcome to the KB Homes' world!
KB Homes is the biggest fan of Sherlock Holmes that you are bound to meet. His fannish tendencies have transcended any kind of book knowledge, and have become less a matter of nerdly debate and more a matter of a way of life.
He doesn’t have a Moriarty to contend with, and he can’t find a Baker Street to live on for the price he can afford, but none of that really matters. He smokes his pipe in the evening, and spends his time playing the violin. KB Homes is also a fan of the old school of strength training, which Holmes was evidently part of. In addition, he works with the local Bartitsu club to develop the art - although, he’s not good enough to go out and win a fight with it.

KB Homes began as a fan from a very young age. He was always very bookish, always took to reading books several times; more, if necessary to understand them. He fell in love with the classic stories - old legends and poems, and then moved on to the adult versions of those same things in his teens. His greatest passion was for pulp stories from the turn of the century - detectives and the like.
As he continued to read, he found himself becoming fascinated with one detective in particular. Sherlock Holmes struck him as the James Bond of detectives. A man of sophistication and class who never the less knew how to get involved and wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty when the time came down to it. And since then, KB Homes has tried to be that guy, has tried to be a man when it comes to doing things and getting them done. That’s not the easiest thing in the world, but it’s something he believes in strongly. |
